When you need a solid foundation for carrying your favorite outdoor gear, this setup delivers. The Yakima BaseLine Roof Rack includes 2 JetStream crossbars, 4 BaseLine towers, and a custom fit kit for your vehicle’s naked roof. The aluminum construction feels sturdy and dependable, giving you confidence when hauling up to 165 lbs of cargo without flex or wobble.
Long highway drives can get loud with the wrong bars up top. These 50" long, 2-3/4" wide, and 1-1/8" tall aero-style crossbars are shaped to smooth airflow and reduce noise and vibration. Rubber strips in the top channels help seal against the wind, so you don’t have to deal with constant whistling on the road.
Mounting carriers can be a hassle when you have to trim rubber strips to fit hardware. With these bars, you just press your carrier’s hardware straight into the top channel. The push-down strips make installation simple—no cutting required—and they close back up around the mounts to keep things quiet and clean.
This rack isn’t tied to just one type of gear. The JetStream bars work with most universal cargo boxes, kayak carriers, ski holders, and bike mounts that either clamp around the bar or slide into the top channels. Whether it’s a weekend paddle or a cross-country trip, this system adapts to how you travel.
The rack is ready for Yakima Same Key System (SKS) lock cores (sold separately), which help deter theft when you’re parked at a trailhead or campsite. It’s an easy way to keep your setup secure while you’re out exploring.
